What does the selected media sector entail?

The media and entertainment industry consists of film, television, radio and print these also includes movies, TV shows, radio shows, news music, newspapers, magazines, and books.

The main five sectors are television, video games, print, publishing and also internet.

The type of stuff that can be involved in TV production can vary depending on wether the production is drama or factual a single camera documentary or a live multi camera.

A film is a work of visual art that simulates experiences and otherwise communicates ideas stories perceptions feelings atmosphere or beauty they do this by moving images.

You will also need to know elements that come with film which are stuff like cinematography, sound, mise-en-scene, editing and narrative. These five elements help make a film but also determine the film and a way to judge a film.

The film industry or motion picture industry comprises the technological and commercial institutions of filmmaking.

There are three main compoents of the film industry the three key stages that need to take place are pre production also know as planning this is the stuff you do before recording, production this is filming when you have started to make your product and last is post productions this is when you have finished you product and you start adding your final touches to your product

Raido

Radio is something you can listen to almost everywhere the main place where someone would listen to a radio is in a car but you can also listen to radios in many different areas as well like on your phone.

There are many different type of radios for people to listen to one example is you can listen to a radio that plays music or it could be a podcast where you just listen to people talk about a specify topic there are many times of different radio channels for people to listen to.

The different forms of radio are a podcast which is where it would be two people or more and they talk about a topic and their views on the topic. Another example of a radio is a radio where they play music so in this radio they would just play many songs on the radio channel for the people listen. Another example is commercial radio this radio is used for advertising or commercial programming as funding. There are still many different types of radio.

One legal issues you would have to worry about is copyright because if you are a radio company that plays music if you play a song or a sound that you don't have the right to you could get copyrighted losing a lot of money. To avoid this make sure you have permission to play something first and if you dont have the right to play the song or sound dont play it.

The type of jobs you can get in the radio industry are radio broadcast assistant, broadcasters and DJ, radio producer, radio presenter and station manager 

You may need specific degree subjects required for specialist programs. Stuff like english and media performance may be preferred.

The key skills that would be required for the sector are skills like communication the reason for a skill like this is because in radios a lot of talking is done so you would need to know how to speak to the people listening or the people that are in the podcast with you. 

You would also need to have confidence in yourself when speaking. Also to have aa clear voice when speaking.

The most common type of employment are radio producers, radio presenters or hosts, broadcast journalists, broadcast engineers. A radio presenter is a host radio programs such as talkback shows, music programs, news bulletins or programs relating to specific content or communities.

Broadcast journalists research and present the news on TV, radio and the internet

What is expected in good behavior is timing you would be expected to come in to work on time so that you can start at the time people would be expecting you to start. Also you would need to be respectful  with the way you talking because a lot of people will be listening to you and there might be people in the studio as well listening.

Animation

Animation involves created images that are created to make a video for people to view this could be for education or for entertainment 

One example of animation is 3D animation 3D animation is the process of creating images in a three dimensional environment giving the illusion that these digital objects are moving through a 3D space.

There are other examples such as 2D animation.two-dimensional animation: animation, or a product of animation, created when two-dimensional images are rapidly sequenced to create the illusion of lifelike motion, as in traditional drawn animation, cel animation, or computer-generated vector

graphics.

There are still other examples like stop motion, motion graphics and many more.

One legal consideration is you need to think about what you animate because if you animate something inappropriate you could get a lot of backlash from viewers causing you to lose a lot of views and getting your show canceled because it isn't doing well.

Another issue which is always common is copyright this is a really common legal issue but can also be avoided 

The type of jobs you can get in the animation industry are careers like motion picture and film industry also fields such as advertising and software publishing

The type of qualifications you would need is not much it would be good to have but not that necessary. Something like a portfolio would be something that might be necessary because it is a way to show what you can and what every company you are applying for will understand what you are able to do and if your talented enough to work for them.

The key skills required for this media sector are your skills in creating animation how talented you are at making animations. Other skills will be necessary like a common one communication because when creating an animation it won't only be one person but many more normally a group of people just to speed up the animation.

Time management would also be important you would need to meet the time set for the animation to be complete.

The most common jobs are jobs like Character Designer this is where you are in charger of creating characters they are normally given in an idea of what to create by the director. This is just one of the jobs there are still other jobs like art director, animator, storyboard artist and many more jobs.

What is expected in professional in this industry your contribution towards the work because if your work isn't up to the standers it will cause a bad look on your animation.

Also maintaining your skills are important because working in the animation industry you need to keep your work at a good level for all the views that watch your show.

Consisentis is important when working in the animation industry.

Interactive media

Interactive media refers to the transformative ways that people share information and ideas through creative uses of technology.

What the interactive media covers is many different advertising, games, pervasive games also application software. Software designed as a tool for users such as a knowledge management platform and there are still more many examples.

The legal issues 

There are many jobs you can take from interactive media one example is social media specialist which are responsible for carrying out social media strategies for organisations.

Another job example is digital advertising specialist these are advertising professionals who focus on creating digital advertisements to promote brands or products.

There are still many other jobs like digital marketer, concept artist, multimedia graphic designer and many more jobs

The qualifications you would need is. A degree or postgraduate qualification in an art and design-related subject, such as graphic or multimedia design, is particularly useful. Information architecture and product design qualifications and work experience are also helpful.

The key skills you would need to work in this industry are teamwork because you will be working with others, articulation, time management, design process, self-awareness, time management and many more skills to help you in this type of sector.

The most common employment in this sector are jobs like social media specialist, video game designer, video editor, animator and a few more

What is expected in terms of professional behaviour one thing one would be time management, communcation, teamwork skills and you might also need management skills depending on your role in your job.

Publishing

Publishing is when you post stuff on social media for people to view and give their opion and it could just be to people information about a certain topic.

The different type of publishing are you can publish stuff information that is going around the world this would be stuff like news that is going on around the world this could be stuff that is going on around the world.
